What is ZoinZo?
ZoinZo is a carpooling and bike pooling app in India. It connects commuters who travel the same route every day, so a driver with empty seats and a rider going the same way can share the trip and split the fuel. ZoinZo owns no vehicles and employs no drivers — every ride is offered by an ordinary commuter.
Is ZoinZo free to use?
Yes. Finding a ride and offering your empty seats are both free, and ZoinZo takes no commission on the fuel money. You pay the person who drove you directly, over UPI or in cash. ZoinZo Pro is an optional paid plan for people who ride often.
How does a ZoinZo ride work?
Someone driving their usual route posts the trip and the seats they have free. You search where you start and where you’re going, see who is already driving that way, and request a seat. You chat inside the app before the ride — no phone numbers swapped first — and pay the driver directly afterwards.
Does ZoinZo verify the people I ride with?
No. ZoinZo does not run background checks or verify IDs, and we’d rather say so plainly. What it shows you is the person’s profile, their vehicle and their past ratings, so you decide who you ride with. The Trust Center sets out exactly what ZoinZo does and doesn’t do.
Which cities does ZoinZo work in?
ZoinZo works anywhere in India — a ride exists wherever two people are going the same way. It’s busiest on daily commutes in and around Jaipur, Alwar, Gurugram, Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. See your city.
Can women ride only with women?
Yes. A Pink Ride can only be offered by a woman and can only be booked by a woman. Same ride, closed to everyone else.
Does ZoinZo work for bikes too?
Yes. ZoinZo is for cars and bikes both. A bike has one seat to offer, and both riders need a helmet. How bike pooling works.
